Play. Laugh. Explore.

Years of dressmaking have lead me here: a place where sewing and creating something by hand has a meaningful story beyond the physical material. I am here to show you some of the things I have learned in the process. While many of them were garnered from theory, most come from long hours of trial and error, pitfalls, sleepless nights, and many valuable lessons learned.

And because we all need a little assistance now and again, Sadie has been filling the many difficult shoes of daily operations. From client relations manager to break-time entertainer, physical trainer, professional squirrel chaser and aspiring comedian, her many jobs are practically essential. Only "a bit" mischievous at times, Sadie knows the true meaning of working hard and playing a little harder. She has taught me that running aimlessly out of joy, and finding a little ray of sunshine to sunbathe in is the true meaning of happiness.

Aside from custom dressmaking services, www.doinaalexei.com is a place where you can master new and old sewing techniques, including a variety of shortcuts I have taught myself over years of trial and error. If you aspire to learn more about apparel sewing, I hope this resource provides you with the prefect starting point. Spend some time exploring tutorials or simply go down the rabbit hole of the dressmaking world.
